Learning Objectives:
Review risks of cannabis use in the perinatal and postpartum period
Provide anticipatory guidance for patients using cannabis while breastfeeding
Discuss biopsychosocial treatment for patients with cannabis use disorder
The educational objective for the APAL Grand Rounds Series is to improve medical providers’ knowledge and skills in diagnosing, treating, and supporting pregnant and postpartum individuals experiencing mental health challenges. The APAL Grand Rounds Series is held monthly on a Friday from 12 to 1pm.
