Outcome Objectives:

Identify the presentation of trauma in childhood and adulthood.

Recognize how trauma may impact prenatal care and parenting, and how intergenerational trauma may impact child development.

Screen for trauma disorders in children and adults.
The educational objective for the APAL Grand Rounds Series is to improve medical providers’ knowledge and skills in diagnosing, treating, and supporting pregnant and postpartum individuals experiencing mental health challenges. The APAL Grand Rounds Series is held monthly on a Friday from 12 to 1pm.
