The Arizona Rural Health Conference is an annual event focused on improving health and healthcare access across rural and underserved communities. Hosted by the University of Arizona Center for Rural Health, this longstanding conference brings together healthcare professionals, community leaders, educators, policymakers, and advocates from across the state for collaboration, education, and networking.

The conference features expert-led presentations, panel discussions, workshops, and opportunities for interdisciplinary connection centered on the unique challenges and innovations shaping rural health in Arizona. Topics span behavioral health, maternal and child health, workforce development, public health, healthcare access, and community-based care.

As part of the conference, APAL will be participating to share resources and support available to Arizona providers caring for pediatric and perinatal populations with mental health concerns. Attendees are encouraged to visit our table to learn more about our free provider-to-provider psychiatric consultation services, educational opportunities, and statewide behavioral health resources.

We encourage healthcare professionals, community partners, and advocates interested in advancing rural health across Arizona to attend the Arizona Rural Health Conference and connect with the APAL team.
