Outcome Objectives:

Approach psychiatric treatment in the perinatal patient population.

Screen and prevent psychiatric illness in the perinatal period.

Manage pharmacology during the perinatal period.
The educational objective for the APAL Grand Rounds Series is to improve medical providers’ knowledge and skills in diagnosing, treating, and supporting pregnant and postpartum individuals experiencing mental health challenges. The APAL Grand Rounds Series is held monthly on a Friday from 12 to 1pm.
