Dr. Riddle will be discussing The Other Postpartum: Pregnancy Loss and Mental Illness

Learning Objectives:

  1. Review our current knowledge base on perinatal loss and mental illness.
  2. Appreciate that grief and mental illness often exist together and must be screened for and treated.
  3. Discuss best practices and specific considerations for this population.

The educational objective for the APAL Grand Rounds Series is to improve medical providers’ knowledge and skills in diagnosing, treating, and supporting pregnant and postpartum individuals experiencing mental health challenges. The APAL Grand Rounds Series is held monthly on a Friday from 12 to 1pm.
