Learning objectives:
- Understand major substances use disorders prevalence and effects during pregnancy
- Describe evidence-informed treatments for substance use disorders in pregnancy and the postpartum period
- Describe the harm reduction model and available resources and approaches
The educational objective for the APAL Grand Rounds Series is to improve medical providers’ knowledge and skills in diagnosing, treating, and supporting pregnant and postpartum individuals experiencing mental health challenges. The APAL Grand Rounds Series is held monthly on a Friday from 12 to 1pm. Be sure to log into your CME account and complete the evaluation to receive credit.
